(I got my copy on the compilation album "Living in Oblivion, the 80's Greatest Hits, Vol. 2".) It's an amusing piece of doggerel. How about we start writing fannish verses? Rules: Come up with four lines about two fans. The 1st and 3rd lines should start with the names. The 2nd and 4th lines should rhyme. There are 7 beats per line. Scansion isn't all that important (at least, not if we take the original song's example, or my feeble effort for that matter), but please give it a try. And enclose (as a footnote) the full names of the fans involved. Obviously better-known /v/i/c/t/i/m/s/ subjects will be better received; one-line bios of the less-well-knowns are certainly in order. 1. Christian McGuire, Robbie Cantor; hazel@netcom.com (C.
