RECIPE: Morios (Maria's Imitation Oreos)

1 box Nabisco "Famous Chocolate Wafers." (If you don't spot them in the
Cookies & Crackers aisle, or the Baking aisle, try over with Ice Cream.)

1 bowl Butter Cream Frosting.
     C&H's recipe:
     1 lb. powdered sugar
     1/4 tsp salt
     1/4 cup milk
     1 tsp vanilla
     1/3 cup (2/3 stick) soft butter
     Beat with mixer until smooth & creamy, scrape bowl often.
Optional:
     Drop of food coloring
     Peppermint extract or other flavor

Use two wafers at a time, fill with the frosting to make sandwich cookies.

Eat immediately. (If you store them in an airtight container, they'll stay
fresh but the wafers will soften.)

Makes 21 cookies. (There are 42 wafers to the box.)
