Saves on electricity!" --Sherry and Truman Bolinger, Scottsdale AZ [from "How to feed a Starving Artist Cookbook," Mountain Press Publishing Co., Missoula MT 1983; pg 241] [Back in my roommate bachelor days, Ruth Elaine (my platonic roommate - never had I roomed with such a different person from myself, but that's another raft of stories) made these cookies from this cookbook I brought back with me from Montana. She liked them; I liked them; but Debbie (my wife, I'm married now) doesn't like cookies with nuts, so I haven't had them since.] June 1991 Hazel Boston-Baden, P.O.
