Recipes: Lady Lee Chocolate Satin Frosting, Lady Lee Chocolate Chip Cookies RECIPE: Lady Lee Chocolate Satin Frosting 1 pkg. (12 oz.) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips 1/4 cup evaporated milk 1/3 cup light corn syrup Pinch salt 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla In a double boiler combine chocolate chips, milk, corn syrup, salt. Heat over hot, not boiling water, stirring constantly until chocolate melts. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and stir until thick. Frosts two 9-inch layes. RECIPE: Lady Lee Chocolate Chip Cookies 375 F oven 1 cup butter or margarine, softeneed 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 cups unsifted flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 pkg. (12 oz.) chocolate chops 1. Cream butter with sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla. 2. Combine flour, salt, soda; blend into creamed mixture. 3. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets. 4. Bake at 375 F. for 8-10 minutes. Makes 8 dozen 2 inch cookies. Variations: Add 1 cup chopped nuts or raisins.
