This outlet is on our counter. It hasn't worked in a long time. It turns out that one of the three wires wasn't hooked up or had burned out.

The outside outlet, which is connected in series to the one on the counter and to some others elsewhere. The circuit that it's on operates other outlets on the perimeter of the house, such as the outlet under the living room window air-conditioner and the outlet under the bedroom window.

Kevin Gillette working on putting in a new mounting box and a new GFI socket. The old outlet had burned up one of the three connections which is why it hadn't worked. The new one works fine.
