When I went out the next morning, I tested the system to make sure that the new heads worked. Looks like a sprinkler system to me. (Tuesday 21-Aug-2007 10:39:36)

We have stepping stones on our lawn, from the front walk to the city sidewalk. (We also have them going across from our front door to the neighbor's side walkway, for the convenience of our letter carriers.) (Tuesday 21-Aug-2007 10:39:54)

Water sprinklers by the curb. The sprinkler heads had almost all been broken or disabled -- these used to be fountains shooting straight up. (Tuesday 21-Aug-2007 10:40:02)
