I went to Anime Expo 2003, with my stack of Anime LA flyers and my digital camera. I took about 374 photos, and printed them out on business cards each night so I could hand out "Otaku Trading Cards" the next day. If I took your photo, you can write to me at pix at anime-la.org and I'll mail you your card. I'll need your name, address, and the 4-digit sticker number I gave you.
Pictures recovered with help from Matthew Randolph.

(Wednesday 02-Jul-2003 21:19) After dinner, I parked my car in the Downtown Disney parking lot (3 hours free parking) and walked back to the Hilton to get my badge. I was "pre-reg unpaid" which means I could pay for my badge on Wednesday, but there was a long line. In fact, it took 2 hours to get through the line. |

1753-11 high-res imageChris Chang at Reg station number 16 of 24. I've made it inside -- but my prereg data weren't on the computer. Eventually, he determined that I should go to the other side of the room and re-key, and then come back. (Wednesday 02-Jul-2003 21:54) |

Note it took over 10 minutes from the time I got to Reg station #24... I heard later that they processed 8,000 members that day (out of 18,000 attendees). (Wednesday 02-Jul-2003 22:08) |
