I take pictures to help me remember people and events. I keep my photos online, because otherwise they'd be a disorganized collection of photo albums or an equally unusable assortment of files on a string of computer disks trailing behind me in time.
If you ask me if I have any good pictures of my friends from ten or twenty years ago, I can only point vaguely to my boxes of slides, and hope that I'll remember the names of all of the faces. But if you ask me about my digital photos, I can confidently find any photo I have taken.
"Hazel's Picture Gallery" can be found on my website, www.boston-baden.com. There are currently over 12,000 photos taken during the last six years, and over 2,000 people are identified by name. If you would prefer not to be in my collection, let me know and I'll try not to take your picture.
