Her classmates.com bio says: "Hi - Let's see...after the 10th reunion, I got married to Jim McLelland (it's been 9 years now). No offense, but we just couldn't take Orange County another millisecond, so we fled up north to the SF Bay Area, where all good liberal deadhead freaks seem to wind up. Presently, I write and design for American Express, and I do freelance voiceover work when I can get it. Jim teaches life skills to parolees. Jim McLelland, Colleen Renton McLelland. Another married pair of CMHS '81 students. Jim's classmates.com bio says: "After graduation, there was Golden West and OCC, sales jobs, DJing on the radio and at various topless bars in OC (The Mustang and Paddy Murphy's). That life eventually proved unfulfilling so I became a certified hypno-therapist and got married to my high school sweetheart, you may remember her as Colleen Renton. We had remained close all along, but we truly reconnected at the 10 year reunion. We were married and escaped from behind the Orange Curtain 9 years ago by moving to the SF Bay area. Using the visualization tools I had acquired in my hypno-therapy training, I became the #1 salesperson in the coutry for TCI cable. Currently I am teaching Parolees life skills such as stress/anger management, communication and relationship skills and have never been happier. We bought a beautiful old house 3 years ago (great timing), have 2 dogs, 4 fish and no kids (should the desire to have kids arise we have agreed to try a chimp first). At this time, our life consists of enjoying each other, enjoying our friends, fulfilling life long ambitions such as our recent vacation to Amsterdam and personal growth. Colleen and I are very much looking forward to attending the upcoming reunion."

Vicki's memory page says: "I got serious about my education five years ago and (finally!) received my BS in Dec. 2000. I should receive my MBA in June 2003. I've been engaged, but things did not work out. I have a wonderful man in my life now who understands the limits on my time, with FT work and accelerated school. I've been camping at almost every lake within 500 miles from here and love riding my Wave Raider. I'm a first time Aunt and love spending time with my family and friends." (Saturday 21-Jul-2001) |

Peter's memory book page says: "After completing a technical degree straight out of high school, I have spent the last 18 years working in the Semiconductor industry. Employed by Applied Materials as a Regional Manager, managing customers in the southwestern United States for the last 7 years. Have been married [to Terri] for the past 13 years and have a twelve-year old daughter [Lauren]. Recently completed a degree in Business Management. To make a long story short, it took me about 10 years to get back into school. Got a Certificate in Electronic Media, I have been working in the Digital Media Arts Department over at OCC since 1997."  0704-07 (lost: cmhs96.jpg)Dan Newman, Steven Carlson. If I could summarize my reasons for coming to the reunion in one photo, this would be it. Steve I've known since elementary school -- Dan is a great guy I met in middle school and kept up with in high school, mostly in the computer center at the college across the street. Both of them smart and clever and funny. In short, the people I know from before high school are the ones I remember most clearly -- I spent years with some of these friends. How could I pass up a chance to see them again? Combine that with the fact that the reunion committee put together a little book with current addresses and "What have I done lately" updates in it. Ray and I were married in 1993 and in 1994 we found a lost Black Labrador, which I sometimes refer to as "our only child," whom we named Mason. Ray and I opened our trailer business (hydraulic dump trailers, equipment flatbeds, landscape/utility trailers, and enclosed trailers for cars, motorcycles, construction, crafts, etc.) in 1996 and have worked steady at it for the past 5 years. In 1997 we started various renovations and additions to our home, and one thing rolls right into the next! Life is Good!" (Saturday 21-Jul-2001) Barbie's memory book page says: "In August of '94, I had my daughter, Marisa Kay Black, and my life hasn't been the same. She keeps me busy with school and sports. I'm still court reporting -- taking depositions at law offices all over. So between work, my daughter and getting together with friends, I stay extremely busy." |
