A number of professional, caring nurses, aides, and other healthcare people took care of my father. He was well-liked by the staff -- in part because he was friendly and pleasant and not too demanding, and in part because the rest of his family kept the floor well-supplied in cookies, chocolate, fruit, nuts, and so forth.
