Living Room Fireplace Side

We've decided to move the three shelves of "funny books" up by one shelf, so they start at the top. The U-Haul box at the bottom left contains some funny books and other fiction that will be shelved in the bottom half of the bookcase.

The "funny books" overflowed back into four shelves when Lynn finished taking them out of the U-Haul box. (You can see the orange Penguin editions of the Wodehouse on the second shelf, for example.) The U-Haul box is still on the floor. We haven't started putting everything back on the fireplace mantle yet.

A view of the fireplace, before all of the CD's were shelved.
Maria Rodriguez watching a video (Prince of Thieves, I think) late at night. It's about 2:45 am. The newspapers are starting to pile up on the living room table, mostly because we haven't put the newspaper caddy back in place. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it.)
A year ago, that corner had two bookcases in it. (Apr-2000)
