While we were down in the Cardiff room, some teenagers got ahold of the cardboard Robot cut-out that had been stationed in front of the film room, and were horsing around with it. At first it was fairly harmless -- they were just walking it around, so it looked like a robot was looking in our windows. We didn't even realize that they weren't part of "us" until later, when we saw them running with it and whacking it against trees and so forth. Who should we have reported this too? We didn't know where to find anyone on the concom -- and compared to the noise/party/hotel situation, it seemed relatively minor. (One point of view I heard the next day is that it served the film room right, for not locking it up at night.) Should we have asked the hotel for help? At that point, we felt that the hotel was against us, and that it would have been pointless to make any waves.
Pictures recovered with help from Matthew Randolph.
