Sunday morning, 7:00 am. I've been desultorily cleaning up after my party, and I'm finally heading to bed. I found this guy snoring in the third floor elevator lobby.

They giftwrapped my lemon! Lynn and I had brunch in the coffee shop and my iced tea came with a lemon, sliced in half, wrapped in yellow cheesecloth - so if you squeezed the lemon, the juice would just drip instead of spatter. Classy joint.

Lynn Baden. She's wearing a purple shirt - this camera seems to have a problem with purple sometimes.

A last look at our hotel room. Maria Rodriguez is on her favorite perch, the window ledge (up until now occupied mostly by her various purchases). Lynn Baden looks on.

After closing ceremonies, many people wind up in the Con Suite. This is the "Dead Dog Party." George Gordon is explaining General Technics to us. Apparently GT's roots are in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, which is where Lynn's father's family is from - in fact, last year she took a vacation to those parts. She didn't see anyone firing off 60-foot foam rockets, though.

Note the almost-empty tub of ginger animal cookies in the foreground, and the plastic bowl with scalloped edges - both are leftovers from my party.

More crowds in the Con Suite. You can just make out a jar of Trader Joe's Salsa Autentica on the right - a red jar with yellow lid. I hope someone was able to use it, it doesn't seem that Chicago Fandom uses a lot of salsa. Seated at the right is the bearded Jonathan Stoltze in a rust red shirt.

There's that jar of salsa again. Jonathan Stoltze is seated in the middle, waving. George Gordon in the black "GT" shirt is standing at right, holding a can of soda (Sprite, I think).
