RECIPE: Tuna Turnover - My Mother's Recipe Bisquick batch (see box for instructions) Lawry's Salad Seasoning Can of tuna Celery Scallions or onions Pepper Egg Can of cream of celery soup Garlic powder Fresh ground pepper Milk Mix a batch of bisquick. Rich biscuit dough, little extra oil. Add a couple spoonfulls of (Lawry's) salad seasoning to the dry ingredients. Filling: can of tuna, couple ribs chopped celery, a little chopped scallions or onions. A little pepper, and an egg. Roll or pat biscuit dough out on wax paper to big rectangle. Spread filling down one long side. Fold other side over by lifting wax paper, then peel wax paper off top. Seal the edges. Put ungreased cookie sheet on top, slide hand under wax paper and turn everything over. Remove wax paper. Cut a few slashes in the top to let steam escape. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes to a nice golden brown. Sauce: Can of campbells cream of celery soup, stir until smooth, add garlic powder, fresh ground pepper, and about 1/2 can of milk to thin it. Pour hot sauce over slices of turnover.
