Tex Mex Shredded Beef
Slow cooker recipe.
- Slow cooker liner goes in first.
- 3-4 oz. ground ancho/pasilla chilis
- 32 oz. beef broth (large carton)
- 3-8 lb boneless beef chuck, cut in 1 1/2-inch cubes
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 TB dry garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp ground cumin seed
- 1-3 Tb chili powder (unsalted)
- 1-2 Tb cornmeal (optional)
