RECIPE: Romulan Ale (Reed)

Here are the proportions and absolute amounts for approx 1 l of Romulan Ale:

2 parts Everclear               286 ml

3 parts Suntory vodka           429 ml

2 parts Blue Curacao            286 ml

3 drops Orange Flower Water     < 1 ml

Total                           1001 ml

This is somewhere around 100 proof. Adjust to taste.

I have found that a 1 l volumetric flask makes an excellent and cheap decanter.
Don't use the fancy Waterford things: the ground glass seals are not
precise and the alcohol escapes. No one drinks Romulan ale that fast!

       Ingredients:

       Karl's Recipe:

                 1 fifth Bacardi 151
                 1 fifth Blue Curaco
                 2 liters Sprite or 7-Up

       Robert's Recipe:  

                 1 fifth Bacardi 151
                 1 fifth Everclear
                 1 fifth Blue Curaco
 
       Procedure:
 
       Mix all ingredients. Chill for approximately 3 hours and serve.
 
       Comments:
 
       Robert comments that  this is  done in shots  because the  average human
       cannot stand up to  a tall cool glass  of Romulan ale; he  suggests that
       Karl's recipe may be fit for human consumption.
