Looks like as long as I'm part of this list I'll never be lonely. In response to the request for summer drinks, I got this recipe from a friend who served it to me when I was in Illinois. I've made it here in California, but somehow its not quite as good. Maybe its the humidity factor. Give it a try and we can discuss if region affects taste. BRANDY SLUSH Dissolve 2 cups of sugar in 7 cups of boiling water. Brew 4 green tea bags in 2 cups of boiling water. Combine sugar water and tea. Add 12 ox. frozen lemonade and 12 oz. frozen orange juice concentrate. Add a fifth of brandy. Freeze the mixture, stirring occasionally until mushy. To serve, fill a small glass with half slush and half lemon/lime soda (or add soda to taste if its been a rough day). Keep slush stored in your freezer. By the way, since I'm new here, can anyone explain the fascination with jello drinks? Linda. May 1994, Linda L. Elvin, lelvin@SPARTA.SJSU.EDU
